About the Teacher
Master Li Jun Feng is the head of the International Sheng Zhen Society founded in Manila, Philippines in 1995. He is the moving force behind bringing the Sheng Zhen practices to the world. Master Li is also its principal teacher and embodies the spirit of Sheng Zhen. He is best known as having been the head coach for the world renowned BEIJING WUSHU TEAM and the NATIONAL WUSHU TEAM of the People's Republic of China for over 15 years. Under his leadership these teams reached new heights of glory by garnering numerous laurels and bringing unprecedented honor to the country. He was also well-renowned movie actor and director in martial arts feature films in China. Master Li travels extensively throughout the world to promote the practice.
TCM ACUPUNCTURE COURSE
DESCRIPTION:
The course provides the learner with the basic theoretical foundation, application and practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It covers the historical development of TCM, a comparison of TCM and biomedical frameworks, TCM fundamental theories, TCM view of the body, TCM diagnostic methods and differential diagnosis.
It incorporates the identification and location of acupuncture points, basic needling techniques, moxibustion and cupping application, and standards of practice. The course includes supervised clinical practice at the INAM Health and Well-being Clinic.
This course also serves as a prerequisite course for other TCM-related courses offered by INAM Philippines.
COURSE HOURS:
120 hours (9:00 am - 6:30 pm)
COURSE FEE:
PhP 16,500.00 one time payment or
PhP 21,600.00 to be paid in 3 installments; with the first installment of 50% due before the start of classes, the second installment (25%) due on or before on October 6, 2007 and the last installment (25%) due on or before November 10, 2007.
Course fee does not include costs of books/ manuals, acupuncture needles and other materials related to patient treatment.

March 1 to June 7, 2008 (every Saturday)
Note: All payments shall be considered as training donations to INAM for its community projects
PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING IS ENCOURAGED:
1. Basic Life Support (CPR) and First Aid Training or any Paramedic Courses
2. Basic Health Skills Training (basic anatomy and physiology, identification and primary care management of common community diseases)
3. Orientation Seminar on Philippine Integrative Medicine
