why include non-taichi arts in a world taichi day event?

The inclusion of activities other than Tai Chi in WTCQD celebration, which will be pioneered by the Chevalier Monks of Christ (CMC)and the Spring of Harmony Internal Arts Club (SOHIAC)in the Philippines, take the World event to the next level.

This is to finally, and for the first time in the present times, educate people about the life-sustaining, all-embracing and child-retaining qualities of Tai Chi.

This is to make known to the public that Tai Chi is about the enjoyment and total experience of life, the thanksgiving for the myriad blessings of life, and the celebration of an ever renewing life every moment. It's about the understanding and application of chi energy to the transformation of the present condition to our ideal. It's about the attainment and maintenance of balance, peace, harmony, health, joy, abundance, and prosperity.

Tai Chi is about expansion, enjoyment, creativity, and the manifestation of our aspirations and goals. It's about awakening the Creative Power within, and the attainment of multiple intelligences.

That's why starting this year, we'll pioneer the pursuit of the essence and mission of Tai Chi: to be empowered to achieve our goals and to be the best that we can be. That we be, in the immortal words of William Ernest Henley in his poem the Invictus (Latin for unconquered), "...the master of our fate, and the captain of our soul."

What can be a fitter celebration than to do it showcasing Multiple Intelligence activities, like music, poetry reading, tai chi demos, internal arts exercises, interactions, etc.

Thus, in very clear terms, a real Tai Chi Master is he who is multiple intelligent (compassionate, successful, healthy, tolerant, mature, has peace of mind; and scores well in kinesthetic, musical, logical/mathematical, aesthetic, intrapersonal, interpersonal, naturalistic/environmental, psychic, spiritual, and cosmic/existential).

In the end, we become the real humans that we are destined to be who control chi.
